Finding Inspiration, When you’re not Inspired

I don’t think anyone wakes up inspired everyday. The beautiful thing is you can get inspired by finding things that make you excited. For me, I love going by the water and sitting for hours because it brings me peace. I believe inspiration sparks creativity and that is why inspiration should be apart of your everyday life.

I am inspired by large buildings because when I see them my thoughts are “Wow! these buildings all came from one idea that someone had and decided to execute.”Imagine taking 10 Years to finally get what you’ve always dreamed of. Do you think that time would matter if you were in your moment of things finally happening? No! Exactly! So it shouldn’t matter now. What should matter is your journey. So when we talk about staying inspired remember that it helps us through the journey and gives us a new prospective on where we currently are in life.

Most success stories have a struggle story attached to them, but what do we see? The results , we don’t see the journey! Staying inspired means understanding the process behind what it takes for your dreams to come true.

When I meet people and they express that they feel like giving up , I tell them a part of my story in hopes that it inspires them to continue fighting. Some people need to know that they are not alone. I believe we all need that as humans.

Speaking about being relatively relatable, My BFF did a Confessions post on her IG this week and someone wrote “I want your life”

Here was her response;

I was amazed and immediately inspired by her response, which made me think to myself “Wow she was so selfless in that moment, she made someone else feel like they weren’t the only one”. I remember thinking “Wow my friend could’ve saved that persons life today or shifted their negative thinking into positive thoughts just by her response.”

It may not be that deep to others but as a woman who struggled with depression and felt alone majority of my life, I know how it feels for someone to tell me the things they’ve been through and for me to get immediately inspired just by their story.

So Yes , being inspired is understanding the journey not just the result. I am hopeful that you will stay inspired on this journey of yours through life.

Holding yourself Accountable & Letting It Go!

  Are you going through some s***? Me too! I hope you are holding yourself accountable but also letting the past go! Holding yourself accountable gives you an opportunity to reflect on what you did wrong so you won't make the same mistake twice. Letting it go is important for your mental health! Definition  ( Accountability):  Accountability is the acceptance of responsibility for one's own actions. Benefits of  ( Letting Go):  Letting go can improve your overall health and prevent long-term health problems. Holding on to things can cause stress and stress can put us at risk for heart disease and other health issues. Omg, y'all!  Things have been super rocky in my personal life lately. A few times I wanted to say f*** it and hide under a rock but I was reminded that no matter what life throws at me I caused on myself. The conversation stopped being "Why me?" & it became "How do I fix this?". My Experience: I got tired of blaming others for why I went...

Dealing with Judge mental People, What you need to know!

People form opinions based on their own personal experiences. I wish more people stopped judging others and allowed them to learn and grow. At Least that's how I feel!  We all know that one person who always has something to say. ( You shouldn't do that, it’ll get you in debt. Leave that alone, you’ll ruin your life. Why would you do that, you should be ashamed. ) Most people tell us things because they lived through it but sometimes the approach isn't as warm and welcoming. I'm here to tell you no matter what advice you get, follow your intuition because it never lies. No matter what I've been through, good or bad it has literally made me into the woman I am today. I regret nothing because it taught me a lot! It taught me to embrace my journey, what I didn't want for my future, how incredible I was and what mistakes I was not willing to make again. I had to realize everything that was meant to destroy me only made me stronger and aware of who GOD has placed me ...

Please don’t take life to serious!

  I know we’ve all heard someone say “ Life is not a game ”. I am here with a unpopular opinion. “ Please don’t take life to serious ”. If you are stressing over financial problems, relationship breakup, difficulties at work or school, injury or illness. You are making things harder for yourself and the healing process. Maybe you are going through a hard time financially, you are going through a breakup, maybe a health scare or family drama.   We all know we go through things so why must we make things more difficult than what they are? By having your everyday life issues at the top of your mind how will it help you? I’m not saying to ignore life’s issues but at-least make the best out of them because it’s only temporary. We are all human and we have our moments of uncertainty, moments of weakness and moments we need to heal etc but why not try to still live a fulfilling life despite what’s going on?  I believe going through difficult moments and finding ways to keep you ...
