5 REAL REASONS why you should feel better Today!

Having a bad day? I totally understand. I have mines too! It’s not a good feeling. Maybe you feel as if you aren’t where you need to be and it is eating you up inside. I am here to tell you you are exactly where you need to be!

Here are 5 real reasons why you should feel better:

It’s your Life Journey

We all understand that sometimes life can feel overwhelming due to the many situations we may come across on a daily basis. I want you to look at it as “This is your journey and it’s yours for a reason. No journey is perfect and there is no way to predict the future but we have the opportunity to create it. If you don’t create happiness around your life you won’t be happy.

You are Alive

So many people didn’t have the opportunity to wake up this morning. Here you are alive and breathing. Sometimes we take the little things for granted! There is someone out there fighting for their life, someone who cant see or even speak. Being alive is more than enough to change your perspective today.

You have people who love you

Although this isn’t about anyone but you, please look at the fact that you have people who love you. Like seriously! Genuinely love who you are. Some people have absolutely no one. Imagine if your world was empty and you had no one? Honestly, one thing I really love about the world we live in is that there are so many support groups for people who feel alone, a few being (Facebook groups, meetup.com, apps) & so many other social platforms to connect with people who are looking for companionship or friendship.

Having a Place to Call Home

A lot of people are living on the street. Literally sleeping on concrete with rats, roaches in unlivable conditions. Most of us are check away from being in these situations. If you have a hot shower , a safe place to sleep and a meal everyday you are living life! Literally! Those are our basic necessities as humans and if you have these things you are doing pretty good considering it is roughly 553,000 homeless people in the United States dated back to 2018 statistics.

Be grateful for Good memories

Although you are having a bad day, do you have any good memories you can think about and instantly laugh at? I’m sure you do! We all do! Everyday will be different so just take it one day at a time and keep the good memories at the front of your mind so you can blur out the not so great ones.

“I hope this shifts your outlook on your bad days.”

Fantasizing about the future, while still dealing with reality

We all remember that one question in high school “ Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years " . Now I'm here 10 years later, and almost everything I've ever fantasized about has happened. I often questioned whether I was the only one who was going through life's trials and still dreaming of all the things I wanted. While doing a bunch of research I realized that I'm not! There are so many people in their 30s 40’s and 50’s still working jobs they hate while fantasizing about the future that they wish to have someday .  Oh, I also know many people including myself who have dreams but are at places in life where we don't want to be. The truth is, all of this is preparing us for our future. That baby you want to have will come when it's meant to come. That lifestyle you want to have is on its way. That trip you are dreaming of taking will happen one day. Please don't stop fantasizing, it makes life fun and you don't feel like all you are doing ...

Sometimes we don’t want to make Sacrifices but they are Necessary!

Omg! Did I mention being a adult in my late 20’s is challenging? Between budgeting , my bank account and making decisions I don’t want to make, I’m over all of it!!!  One minute I feel like superwoman and the next minute I feel like I’m losing my mind. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way. I’m at a point where I don’t want to do it but it’s necessary! If I want all the things I say I want. Sacrifices need to be made, who wants to make Sacrifices? The painful ones to be exact. Umm, Nobody! Exactly! Okay, the rant is over! Although I could go on and on about how life can suck, I’d rather talk about the positive perspective attached to all decisions we are currently making for our future.  You are probably reading this after crying your eyes out in the shower , or maybe you paid your last bill and there’s no money left in your account. Whatever your situation is I’m sure you are making those painful sacrifices we can all relate to.  I just want to say Congratula...
