Combating negative thinking, and making positive thinking apart of your everyday life!

Have you ever thought about something negative? Then your entire day became consumed with negativity. I know! I’ve been there too. Come-on we are human and we all have our days of not remaining positive. If it is something that happens often you may need to do extensive work to get better.

Ibelieve negativity is often a product of depression or insecurity. Have you ever been around someone who has had absolutely nothing positive to say about anyone? That can come from insecurity. Maybe every time you tell that one person something positive they look for the worse that can happen? That can be a sign of Depression.

Although I’m not here to do a lesson on negative thoughts, I think it’s important that we recognize how our thoughts can come from deep rooted problems we don’t address.

I’m here to tell you how I’ve overcame Negative Thinking & hopefully you can too.

3 Great Ways you can minimize your negative thoughts;

 Acknowledging your thoughts 💭

When you get a negative thought address it by figuring out how you can turn it into a positive one.

For Example;

(Your Negative Thought- It’s never going to happen for me.)

(A Positive Thought- I am grateful for my journey, it’s taking a while but my time is going to come.)

Write Instead of think✍️

Have you ever heard of a brain dump? If not, a brain dump is transferring your thoughts from your brain onto paper. If you are a over-thinker like me I find this to be really effective. Brain dumps allows you set intentions on becoming a better you. Journaling is a great method for achieving this way of combatting negative thinking.

Exercise🏋️‍♀️

Exercising  is a great way to combat negative thinking. At least from my experience. When I started working out it made me feel more positive and optimistic about myself and my life.

I hope all of these encourage you to combat negative thinking and make positive thinking apart of your everyday life.

Holding yourself Accountable & Letting It Go!

  Are you going through some s***? Me too! I hope you are holding yourself accountable but also letting the past go! Holding yourself accountable gives you an opportunity to reflect on what you did wrong so you won't make the same mistake twice. Letting it go is important for your mental health! Definition  ( Accountability):  Accountability is the acceptance of responsibility for one's own actions. Benefits of  ( Letting Go):  Letting go can improve your overall health and prevent long-term health problems. Holding on to things can cause stress and stress can put us at risk for heart disease and other health issues. Omg, y'all!  Things have been super rocky in my personal life lately. A few times I wanted to say f*** it and hide under a rock but I was reminded that no matter what life throws at me I caused on myself. The conversation stopped being "Why me?" & it became "How do I fix this?". My Experience: I got tired of blaming others for why I went...

Please don’t take life to serious!

  I know we’ve all heard someone say “ Life is not a game ”. I am here with a unpopular opinion. “ Please don’t take life to serious ”. If you are stressing over financial problems, relationship breakup, difficulties at work or school, injury or illness. You are making things harder for yourself and the healing process. Maybe you are going through a hard time financially, you are going through a breakup, maybe a health scare or family drama.   We all know we go through things so why must we make things more difficult than what they are? By having your everyday life issues at the top of your mind how will it help you? I’m not saying to ignore life’s issues but at-least make the best out of them because it’s only temporary. We are all human and we have our moments of uncertainty, moments of weakness and moments we need to heal etc but why not try to still live a fulfilling life despite what’s going on?  I believe going through difficult moments and finding ways to keep you ...

Becoming Someone Different - Aligning with your Future Self

Are you becoming who you desire to be or are you stuck?   I think this is the most challenging thing to ask. It is important to get clear on what you want so that you don't fall into the trap of becoming what you don't want to be! Everything we say we want must align with the decisions we make.  REALITY CHECK. You want to lose weight -> Did you change your diet? You want to save money -> Did you create a savings plan? You want a healthy relationship -> Are you actively working on yourself? It's okay to want to become someone different, better, positive, optimistic etc. Whatever you want to become you are only one decision away from becoming! Is everything you want aligning with your actions? If you answered NO, you are doing it all wrong. I know we often talk about manifesting but manifesting will not work if we don't put actions behind the things we say we want. We are in NOVEMBER, I challenge you to say “NO” to the things that no longer align with what you wa...
